IB English Courses

IB English is a subject that delves deep, with the aim of reaching a level of practical communication that is ideal for everyday use, while also laying the foundation for further study. It is designed to develop learners’ skills in understanding and addressing their audience, and has the inherent ability to facilitate effective and accurate communication through improved reading and writing approaches.

IB Global Academy : Delhi, Gurgaon & Noida:

At our IB (MYP) & IB (DP) English program, we emphasize the analysis of literary texts and the development of techniques for literary criticism, promoting the ability to form independent literary judgments. Our teaching methodology centers around these core principles. Our team consists of highly passionate and motivated educators who possess specialized knowledge in English language and literature. They impart qualitative concept learning and help students develop skills for writing expected answers through assignments, assessments, and tests. Our IB English experienced teachers in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida are well-equipped with IB criteria and possess dynamic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. We prioritize the needs of every student.

Our syllabus encourages critical thinking about English language and literature, as students are required to have analytical skills and the ability to support arguments in clearly expressed writing, sometimes at significant length. Students also develop their power of expression, both in oral and written communication, by practicing and developing the skills involved in writing and speaking in a variety of styles and situations. We provide past year papers and assignments to help students succeed.

The study of English as a language and literature requires a thorough knowledge of a range of texts and an understanding of other cultural perspectives. In our IB Language A: literature course, we choose texts from the prescribed literature in translation (PLT) list and the prescribed authors (PLA) list or elsewhere.

Our Syllabus for English A: Language and Literature course (HL) consists of two parts: Language in Cultural Context and Language and Mass Communication. The study of literature from other cultures is important for IB (DP) students because it contributes to a global perspective. Our IB English classes feature classroom teaching (focused teaching as it is always one-to-one), home tuition, and online tuition services to accommodate all students.
